Racing Post arrive in South Africa with most extensive portfolio yetReading Time: 2 minutes

Racing Post has always long been recognised as the leading provider of official UK and Irish horseracing data and content on these shores. It’s products, content and capabilities do not stop there, with 2019 a significant year for diversification and progression. In the past few months, it has seen the launch of international content, a trading solution known as AllSported and Intellr, an in-play football product.

The former aims to push Racing Post to become the leading provider of all horseracing content around the world and used alongside AllSported can allow someone to create a complete sportsbook of global racing content.

For the first time, Racing Post will be showcasing their portfolio in Africa at the upcoming ICE event taking place in Johannesburg. The exhibition is the only B2B gaming event on the continent and attracts over 1,500 visitors.

The focus for Racing Post in Africa will be, AllSported, an expert trading solution that gives customers made-to-measure racing odds delivered with streamlined integration to maximise their profit. The solution aims to disrupt price replication which has dominated the market in recent years by bringing to market a powerful combination of marketplace odds analysis, race content and managed trading services.

Group Strategy and Business Development, Edward Clarke explained the excitement at Racing Post as it brings its most innovative product yet to Africa: “AllSported, our new racing trading solution provides a powerful combination of marketplace odds analysis, race content and managed trading services. The consultative service is now available to global companies looking to offer a competitive racing price feed and drive efficiencies. Africa has more countries than any continent so ICE Africa comes at the perfect time to showcase our latest offering in a new territory. We see AllSported as the most complete horseracing betting solution on the market and I have no doubt that those in Johannesburg will be talking about it.”

Racing Post also announced the launch of its international racing coverage earlier this month as it continues to add to its breadth of content to include all major racing jurisdictions across the globe. The latest addition is South Africa which has already seen considerable demand with bet365 becoming the first bookmaker to go live with the content. Moving swiftly, Racing Post is delighted to announce French content is now available including information familiar to those who use a British or Irish race card, such as silks, form, comments, verdicts and star ratings. Providing reliable information to customers, leaving them better informed and more knowledgeable about the upcoming races.

International Sales Lead Darren Mohan spoke about the upcoming show and the success of Racing Post International content so far: “The African market is a whole new ball game for us but we have the depth and strength in content and product to make an impact and offer something exciting to the market. Our research shows that the growth in horseracing is from further afield than just the UK and Ireland and we have already experienced success with our South African content. Attending ICE Africa this year means we can showcase this content to a whole new audience, it’s shaping up to be a very good week.”

Also on display at the cafe will be Racing Post’s recently launched Intellr In-play football product and a range of sports content including industry-leading premier league analysis.

Twin River Worldwide Holdings Announces Partnerships with DraftKings Inc. and FanDuel GroupReading Time: 2 minutes

Two of the Nation’s Top Sportsbooks to Debut in Colorado

Twin River Worldwide Holdings, Inc. today announced separate market access partnerships with DraftKings Inc. and FanDuel Group, giving sports fans in Colorado access to award-winning sportsbook products.

These partnerships combine Twin River Worldwide Holdings’ nationwide experience in gaming and casino operations with market-leading sports betting expertise and globally recognizable brands. Colorado is the fifth state in the United States where the FanDuel Sportsbook platform will be available and is the sixth state to offer the DraftKings’ Sportsbook platform.

As announced last Friday, Twin River Worldwide Holdings completed the acquisition of Golden Gates, Golden Gulch and Mardi Gras casinos in Black Hawk, Colorado. With the completion of this acquisition, Twin River also acquired the right to three sports gaming licenses in Colorado, leading to the creation of these two partnerships. Twin River will retain the third license for its own future use.

“Obtaining the right to three sports gaming licenses in Colorado will expand our footprint in the state well beyond our Arapahoe Park racetrack and off-track betting network,” said George Papanier, President and Chief Executive Officer of Twin River. “These newly-formed partnerships with DraftKings and FanDuel allow us to provide an unmatched sports betting experience to Colorado, not only with their mobile betting access, but also with an exciting DraftKings retail sportsbook location inside one of our newly acquired casinos.”

“Coast to coast, DraftKings is committed to providing states across the country with the ultimate experience in legal sports betting,” said Ezra Kucharz, DraftKings chief business officer. “Twin River is committed to providing exciting, real-time gaming opportunities, and we look forward to working alongside them to introduce Colorado sports fans to our award-winning product.”

“Twin River has been engaged in sports betting since the beginning in Rhode Island and Mississippi, and they are an ideal partner as we continue to enter states that open up online and mobile sports betting,” said Matt King, CEO, FanDuel Group. “Colorado has a sensible framework for sports betting, and we are excited to partner with a renowned gaming company like Twin River to bring our market-leading online sports betting experience to Colorado sports fans.”
