The gaming specialist Highlight Games, a Cherry AB subsidiary, has entered into a multi-year agreement with Sisal Entertainment S.p.A  for Sisal to deploy Highlight Games’ Soccerbet™ virtual sports games in Italy.

Under the agreement the parties will launch the Highlight Games products into the Sisal Matchpoint retail estate. The games are based on Highlight Games’ exclusively licensed football product, that features archive footage from the Serie A Italian football league, and are approved by the Italian supervisory authority Agenzia della Dogande e dei Monopoli.

Highlight Games CEO Tim Green commented,
“Becoming a supplier of sports games to leading Italian operator Sisal is further confirmation that the Highlight Games ground breaking suite of content is set to entertain and enthrall the Italian gaming market. No other product provides players the ability to bet on fixed odds virtual style games whilst watching the actual real-world teams and stars of Serie A play out the results. The ‘Bet on Highlights’ game is like no other and offers the perfect accompaniment to sports betting.”

Massimo Temperelli, Sisal Head of Sports Betting commented,
“We are very excited about the partnership with Highlight Games. There is no other virtual sports product in the Italian market that provides such a real-life experience. We look forward to seeing what the impact of this game has on the market for virtual sports.”
