Dench eGaming Solutions, a turnkey gaming platform supplier to the iGaming industry announced today that it is the main driver behind the revamp of the 138 brand in UK.

The deal represents a full operational migration of 138 brands to the Dench Core platform. Both companies are determined to revitalize the gaming brand through the introduction of more modern and flexible technology and new features that will drive company’s distinguished player experience.

Committed to innovation and increased value, 138´s future strategy is based on delivering an innovative online experience that ensures customers return repeatedly. From a unified back office, Dench Core will provide more intuitive user management, advanced BI instruments delivering advanced analytics while considering all the regulatory requirements towards KYC and responsible gaming. The marketing tool Giselle V.2 will help 138 capture customer data in real time and structure it intelligently in more than 150 KPIs. NSoft, premium betting software provider and Casa Pariurilor, a part of the largest Central European betting operator, have extended their cooperation by agreeing on implementation of NSoft´s In-Play MTS betting solution into Casa Pariurilor’s retail network. The network numbers over 700 shops in Romania, positioning Casa Pariurilor amongst the top three betting companies in this country.

The UK Gambling Commission is considering a ban on credit cards for gambling-related transactions. The commission has invited recommendations and suggestions from the members of the public, gambling businesses and other stakeholders.

Paul Hope, an executive director at the Gambling Commission, said: “We are exploring measures that could help reduce the risk of harm to consumers who use their credit cards to gamble online, and to those who play on all Category B machines. We want consumers, gambling firms and other interested parties to have their say and provide evidence that will help us make gambling safer.”

UKGC has already agreed in principle that consumers should not gamble with money they do not have. Gambling with borrowed money is already well-established as a risk factor for harmful gambling.

Now it is seeking meaningful input to help determine if restrictions—potentially including an outright ban—are necessary to limit risks to consumers.

The other call for evidence gives an opportunity for gambling businesses to outline how they will meet the challenges set out in the UK Government’s Review of Gaming Machines and Social Responsibility Measures over the protections for players using FOBTs.
